CHINA. The Airports Council International (ACI) Asia Pacific/World Annual General Assembly Conference and Exhibition will be hosted by Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) next year.
More than 1,000 figures from the airport industry are expected to attend. Delegates will vote on key questions, discuss industry issues and examine future trends. It is the first time that Hong Kong will have hosted the event.
Airport Authority Hong Kong CEO Fred Lam said: “It is a great honour to host this prestigious event in our home town. HKIA is one of the world’s busiest airports and an international aviation hub. I believe through sharing, exchange and collaboration between different airports, we can enhance the overall operations and services of all airport operators.”
ACI World Director General Angela Gittens said: “We continue our work with members and stakeholders to build a safe, secure and sustainable aviation future. We look forward to working with our 2019 host, HKIA, a world class hub airport, ranking in the top 10 busiest airports, as we build on the successes of this year’s conference.”
The conference will be held at the AsiaWorld-Expo near HKIA from 2 April until 4 April. Delegates are invited to register here, with a reduced rate for “early-bird” registrations.
